TQI COVID-19 Response:
We initiated a fund raising to support needy during this COVID crisis:
1) For 15 days, food was prepared in our volunteer’s home and distributed to daily wage labours and to an orphanage in the village near aruppokkattai, Tamilnadu. 1275+ packets of food were distributed.
2) Grocery kits with 18 necessary ingredients were distributed to 310 needy families in and around the villages of Aruppokkottai.
3) Supported a team in Arakkonam, Tamilnadu in purchasing rice bags for 100 families.
4) Supported our TQI volunteer in purchasing rice for food preparation. He runs a Kitchen in Tirupur, Tamilnadu and distributing 800 food packets daily to the needy.
5) Supported a team in Mysore for procuring masks, sanitizer and safety equipment for distribution.
